I grew up in a dense city in Singapore, shaped by concrete landscapes where nature was limited. I later left Singapore to study art in San Francisco, where nearby mountains, forests, and the ocean introduced me to a very different relationship with the natural world. Over time, as the city became more congested and less sustainable, I felt myself being pulled back into ways of living that no longer served me. That misalignment became an important turning point, inviting me to listen more closely to my own needs.
I began exploring different styles of yoga and deepened my relationship with the Buddhist teachings I was raised with. What started as curiosity gradually became a way of listening through intentional movement, breathwork, and contemplative learning. These practices taught me how to sit with discomfort, soften self-judgment, and meet change with compassion rather than force.
More than two decades later, my daily practice continues to shape both my personal growth and how I guide others. As my inner world shifted, so did my relationship with the outer one. Spending time in nature was once uncomfortable became deeply healing. Nature offered quiet lessons in how fear can soften into trust, how movement can ground us, and how clarity often emerges when we step beyond what feels familiar.
Alongside this personal path, I worked as a designer for over 20 years, creating visuals that helped people imagine new possibilities. This work required a deep understanding of human behavior, the ability to visualize outcomes, and a creative approach to meaningful change. I now bring together my personal and professional experience through mindful, creative, energetic, and nature-based practices that support sustainable change. I work with people seeking a deeper connection to movement, creativity, nourishment, and time outdoors, offering a supportive space to explore, experiment, and design small steps forward grounded in personal values, belief systems, and self-trust.
I am currently undertaking formal training in life coaching through the University of California, San Diego Health and Wellness Coaching program.
